Emily's Braces!

2 much appreciated comments
Hey everyone!

Like always, I've been up to more crafts! This time they were doll braces! This craft idea was given by Joelle (A.K.A. American Girl Forever ) Here's how to make them.

What you need
*Pens, markers, crayons, or colored pencils (I used gel pens)
*A toothpick

Here's how to make them

1. draw the braces on paper
2. cut them out

WOW! Isn't that easy?

to apply the braces, take the braces and use a toothpick to put them in your dolls mouth. They should stay in WITHOUT tape or glue

to remove the braces, take a toothpick and get it down between the doll and the paper and lift them out.

here's what they look like

...close up

...and farther away

American Girl Show and Tell Wednesday-Week 6

0 much appreciated comments
Welcome to American Girl Show and Tell Wednesday!!!
Started by Liz (A.K.A. AmericanGirlFan)

This is a cute picture I took of Emily. I thought it would look like a cute ballerina. It didn't come out EXACTLY how I hoped, because the lighting is weird, the camera is at a weird angle, and not to mention you can see a corner of the car.
But I still thinks it's cute!

A New Dress!!!

2 much appreciated comments
Hey everyone!

I though you all might be interested in seeing one of my most recent projects.

This is a Christmas dress I made for Marisol. I made it out of leftover fabric from my SuperGirl Halloween costume. I used the Kirsten's Birthday dress pattern from AGPlaythings' sewing patterns. Since I had a ton of leftover fabric I'm going to make a matching one for Emily!
BTW, that is a french braid headband I did which took an hour to do!
I have made many more new craft projects so keep your eyes open for more new crafts!!!

Marisol's Fall Photo Shoot Video

3 much appreciated comments
Hey everyone!

Sorry I haven't been posting consistently! I'm just very busy with dance and all.

I was however, able to do a photo shoot of Marisol on a nice, sunny, fall day.

So what did you think? I know the music doesn't fit great, but I didn't have a lot of options.

Show and Tell Wednesday- Week 4

0 much appreciated comments
Hey everyone!

Welcome to show and tell wednesday.

In case your clueless about what show and tell and Wednesday is, it's a program that Liz (A.K.A. AmericanGirlFan) started for girls to share photos!

Here is a picture I took about a week ago for Marisol's fall photo shoot. I love this photo because I like the way it shows Marisol's smallness, and the tree's bigness (are those even words?)

Marisol is a Damsoille, Kendal is a princess, Conor is a prince, Emily is the maid (LOL!), and Coconut is the court jester!
If you were wondering, I'm going to be supergirl!

My oh my, how time is going by! It's only 3 days till Halloween! Anyway, time for show and tell week 3! Like always if you want to do show and tell visit AmericanGirlFan (visit it even if you don't want to do show and tell anyway!)

This is just a silly and sort of stupid picture I took for fun. It was when on AGFMB we were doing outrageous photos so I showed it there. The girls were supposed to be getting ready for a party! LOL!

A Doll Sized Find

1 much appreciated comments
Hey Everyone!
Most of you didn't know that this past weekend I went to a revolutionary war reenactment.

It was really cool! We saw a man swallow 3 swords at once, and a hilarious juggling duo!

A lot of people like to sell handmade (and some factory made) things. Fortunately I had a $5 bill in my pocket.

It was very hard to choose what to buy. Here is what I decided on:

A fan, and two miniture bottles! I got the fan for $2 and the bottles for $0.50 a piece.

Here is one of the bottle up close

Here is the Marisol compared to the bottle. (sorry the picture is sideways)

And finally, here is the bottle in Marisol's hand.

I'm not quite sure what I want to do with the bottles yet. So far I'm thinking salt and pepper shakers. Do you have any ideas of what I could do with them?

American Girl Show and Tell Wednesday-Week 2

1 much appreciated comments
Hey everyone!
It's time for show and tell! If you want to know who else is doing show and tell then go to AmericanGirlFan.

Here's mine!

This is a picture of Emily when I did her photo shoot on a rainy day. I was able to take lots of beautiful pictures, but this was my favorite. It was quite scary to take though, because I was afraid she would fall in.

American Girl Show and Tell Wednesday-Week 1

2 much appreciated comments
Hey Everyone!

I saw this really cool idea on Liz- AmericanGirlFan (there you go Liz, there's the link.) Called American Girl Show and Tell Wednesday. It's where every Wednesday I will share a photo that has to do with American girl with you, and then I will tell you about it.

This is a picture of Emily when I took her to the Children's Museum of Indianapolis. It's the world's largest children's museum! Here she is in a pretend log in an exhibit called Science Works, and you guessed it, the exhibit is about science! After I took this photo, a little boy went in, and through Emily out of the window! Poor Emily! LOL!

Yes ANOTHER test

Okay so this is a test for my coloring pages. Try clicking the picture I made below.

Coloring Pages

0 much appreciated comments
So far EVERYBODY would love to have printable homemade color pages. I love making them, and I love sharing them even more! I think that everyone would get bored of pictures of Marisol and Emily. Because I don't have any other dolls, I'm asking YOU to help me! I'd love it if you'd send very colorful photographs that you have taken to me at It would be greatly appreciated. I would turn them into coloring pages, the you all could print and color them!

My Banner!!!!!!!

3 much appreciated comments
Woohoo! I got my banner done! I changed my banner so that it would get more of a knitting and crochet affect. Do you guys like it? I'm very pleased with how it came out.

If you ever need a good idea for a banner be sure to ask Libby. She had an idea but I already knew what I wanted to do. Thanks anyway Libby, it was very kind of you to think of me!

It's Official

2 much appreciated comments
Oh no! It's official!

AG IS going to retire Kirsten after the holidays. It makes me so sad. Kirsten is my favorite historical character. I love her stories so much. Meet Kirsten is my favorite AG books. At least her books and mini doll will still be around.

I heard that quite possibly there would be a DVD made about Kirsten.

Kirsten was the doll I was going to get next (if I ever did get another). I would ask for her for christmas but the chances of getting her are zip zero nadda goose eggs.
